  • The Carlton Baths & Family Resource Centre is a much loved local recreation and community facility. It has the feel of a local meeting place frequented by old-time Carltonites, new comers, kids and migrant families all mixed in together. It caters for all forms of exercise and sociability from swimmers, yoga types, basketball players, gymnasium frequenters and people who just enjoy getting up a sweat. It also caters for the City of Melbourne’s Family Services including maternal & child health, family counselling and playgroups. We have renovated the facility three times over a thirty year period, firstly in 1990, then 2013 and 2016. The recent renovations have made the complex more sustainable and easy to use with a wider range of recreational and community facilities.
