The Summerland Peninsula Infrastructure & Procurement Master Plan provides concepts for the future conservation and management of Summerland Peninsula. This includes the famous Penguin Parade visitor facilities, the penguin and shearwater habitat, the Nobbies & Seal Rocks along with well-known surf beaches like Summerland Bay, Cat Bay, Shelley Beach and Cowrie Beach.

The master plan envisages a new penguin parade visitor centre and support facilities along with a refurbished Nobbies visitor centre, extensive landscaping and habitat restoration among many other initiatives.
