Founded in 1858, Melbourne Grammar School is one of the oldest denominational schools in Victoria. The South Yarra campus is well known, with its fine collection of nineteenth century bluestone buildings set in generous and picturesque landscaped grounds. The campus accommodates over 1200 boys in the Wadhurst Middle School and the Senior School. The Junior School, Grimwade House is located in Caulfield and provides accommodation for 650 boys and girls. The junior campus has a village-like atmosphere of smaller scale buildings, courtyards, generous gardens and large rectangular green. Both campuses have effectively been rebuilt over the last 15 years with an extensive program of new facilities and refurbished buildings.
