Gourlay Building
Educational Projects 2007
“Three Wardens and forty years after it was first discussed Trinity has a new residential wing, the John and Louise Gourlay Family Building made possible by the generosity of the Gourlay family.” Trinity College, Today newsletter 2005
Project Description
The Gourlay Building is the first major student residential building to be built at Trinity College since the early 1960’s. Trinity College occupies a splendid site fronting Royal Parade just north of Tin Alley and the University of Melbourne campus. The new building infills a compact re-entrant site formed by the blank ends of the Clarke and Behan Wings. The accommodation is mostly motel-style student suites along with a small number of apartments for resident and visiting scholars.
